October 2024: the first release of Flipp
This is where Flipp began. We wrote these notes in September 2026, looking back at what the first public release contained.
Goals and reviews
Objectives with key results and check-ins, organised by period, with development plans alongside. Managers reviewed the goals, and configurable workflow steps decided who acted next.
People and the org chart
Each organisation had its own workspace, with teams, invitations and an organisation chart showing who works with whom.
Recruiting
Open roles, a candidate pipeline and a public application form. For a new role, AI drafted the job description, a salary range in Swiss francs and a set of skill tags, all ready to edit.
Projects
A place to list the projects a team works on, the starting point for the project and client features that came later.
Sign-in and subscriptions
Sign-in with Google or Microsoft, and subscriptions through Stripe. The first release was in English only.
